Here are some handy tips designed to help you prepare for you IELTS Exam at home.

1MAKE A PLAIN WHICH WORKS FOR YOU .

Before you open your IELTS Exam book, its important that you plan  out your study schedule. when preparing for a big test like this, Time management is very important. it has been proven that anxiety and stress do not help your retain 

information. this is why creating a balanced study plan which works for you is the first thing you should do. And do not forget to include breaks,

its important to sick to this plan as much as you can through your study period.

Make sure your study plan includes all the elements of the test .the Reading, writting , listening, and speaking sections all require practice, so make sure you dont leave any of them behind

2.DO NOT STUDY 24/7

If you are feeling stressed, you may feel like you need to study at every possible moment. however , science shows that this may not be the best way to learn . it has been proven that distributing your studying over time   will help you retain the information better than if you did it all the night before the exam. research also shows that spending all your time studying in o0ne place can be draining . By altering the rooms you study in, you can easily improve how well you learn

4. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE.

As you do not know exactly what sort of content you will be asked in your IELTS exam,it is so important that you properly practice so that you can prepare for every outcome. completing IELTS practice papers can help with this,but there are other ways to practice that you may have some fun with.one way to strengthen your english language skill to practice your general english  writting. starting a blog could be good way of doing this. writting about your day could be an easy way of practicing forming sentences in English, and you could even get your friends to comment their thoughts underneath each post. you can setup a free blog on wordpress or blogspott.

Other things you could do to practice is writting your social media posts in English, or writting letters to your friends and family.

Multitasking is key for the listening section of the exam. you need to be able to listen while answering questions and making notes. This is why it would be helpful to practice your multitasking skills before your exam. You can practice this skill by listening to podcasts and taking notes of what is happening, or watching the news in English while Summarising the discussion as you watch.

5. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH ENGLISH.

There is more to achieving a high score in IELTS than just reading the textbooks. of course these are important, but there are other things you can do at home which will help improve your grasp 0f the English language
